Hello Year 2! It's been lovely to hear from so many of you this week. You seem to be embracing our new butterfly topic and I have read some super dragon stories. I have enjoyed seeing photos of you completing the reading challenges and having fun learning outdoors! Poetry Time With Miss BennettHi Everyone! I have really enjoyed hearing about your Easter holidays and am very impressed with how many reading challenges some of you have achieved already. Here are some photos that you have shared with me over the last couple of weeks. Keep them coming!
Hello Year 2! I hope you have had an enjoyable Easter!
If any of you completed any of the tasks I set for the holidays, please email me and show me what you've been up to. Before the holidays, you began to write your dragon stories for Literacy. As this week is only a 3 day week, I'd like you to use the time to finish writing your story. I suggest using one day to write the story, one day to edit and improve it and then write the final story on Friday. Try to include some expanded noun phrases (tall, brown tree), conjunctions to join sentences together (and, but, because, when, if)and include lots of common exception words. Any questions, please send me a message via email or the gateway. I can' t wait to read them! You can find your Maths for the week by clicking on the link below; https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/ Please complete 'Summer term, Week 1' which focuses on fractions. I strongly recommend that you watch the video clips attached to each day. For the next 2 weeks I would like to focus on the topic of butterflies. Have a look at the topic web below and choose some activities that appeal to you.
