KS2 Natural Disasters KS1 Our Dramatic Weather We all hope that you have a fantastic weekend! Mrs Peters, Miss Chalcraft, Mrs Glover and Miss Rowe Regena has spotted this fabulous looking boat in the sea. Can any of you name the type of boat she has spotted? Let me know if you think you know the answer. I'm sure lots of you have become boat experts after all of the learning you have done over the last 2 weeks.
If you're not too sure, keep an eye out on the blog later and I will reveal the answer! It was of course... a dredge boat! Gosh, I have had one of the most exciting emails through to me....our very own Mirabelle got picked to star and sing in a special lockdown song written by composer Thomas Johnson called 'When all this is over'. She was asked to send in ideas for lyrics and some of the lyrics in the song were inspired by Mirabelle! The video is stunning and brought several tears to my eyes. Click here to get to the video.
Not only did Mirabelle get picked for the song, she was also the youngest and has been asked to be interviewed with one other singer and Thomas Johnson on Radio Devon this Thursday at 11.30am. I know I'll be tuning in! Well done Mirabelle, we are all so proud of you! Click here for further information about the song and watch this space as I also believe Mirabelle has been asked to perform the song in the Northcott Theatre in the future! Gosh, how is it Friday already! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend - don't forget to celebrate Father's Day (or special person day) on Sunday!

Think outside the box though and don't just include these on windows and doors! You could colour coordinate the lines by using a key too. We're looking forward to seeing your houses! This week is the second week of your 'Boats' themed Topic Web. We shall also be in touch soon for another zoom meeting! Have a great weekend! Mrs Peters, Miss Chalcraft, Miss Rowe and Mrs Glover |
