Here are your home learning activities for next week. As mentioned in the earlier letter home to you, we are going to trial using the BBC Bitesize Literacy resources this week, instead of the Hamilton Trust Units (less printing and more child friendly). We will still be using the White Rose maths as this falls in line with how we teach the children in school. There are BBC Bitesize maths resources if you wish to try any of them as well. Maths White Rose Summer Term wc 27th April - Fraction work Literacy (please follow the links as we have begun on last weeks lessons) Monday identifying nouns Tuesday identifying pronouns Wednesday identifying adjectives Thursday identifying verbs Friday - topic based writing but try to include nouns, pronouns, adjectives and verbs. Your challenge could be to highlight all four in your writing with different colours! Topic It's time for our new topic for the next two weeks. This time, it's 'The Americas'. Feel free to access this learning as you wish and try to hit lots of subject areas. We will be leaving Fridays Literacy free for an extended piece of writing. You can take an idea from the topic web page for this (there are a range!). As we did for Butterflies, we have given you the links for both the KS1 and KS2 ideas (there are so many on both you can access).
