You will have received a detailed letter from Mrs Marvin about school return but here are some little extras we would like you to know about. English - Our first teaching sequence will be a short story from 'The Book of Hope' which has been put together by the Literacy Trust. Miss Bennett has spent the summer catching up with friends outside, paddle boarding and enjoyed a visit to Lego Land. Miss Chalcraft has seen friends for walks / picnics, had fun off-grid camping by the beach with a lot of time spent in the sea and also wild swimming on Dartmoor. Mrs White has been to market, enjoyed hay harvesting and has also been on local outings for a cream tea or a garden center visit with Mrs Glover. The classroom is looking a little different to what you are used to as all the tables are facing forwards now, see photos below. We are looking forward to seeing you, Miss Chalcraft, Miss Bennett and Mrs White We hope you enjoy a book to mark 'Reading Together Day'. By completing different events she won a first for her long jump, two seconds and two thirds, coming second overall in the younger sibling category.
As part of our growing and changing topic, Year 4 pupils at school have created life cycles of plants and animals.

He designed and built his own woodwork structure on stilts.
In response to today's literacy work from Hamilton, children have followed instructions and made their own worry dolls.
