Morley has been out walking in the sunshine this week, Lucy has been trying out her new work space and Leo has been planting tomato and cucumber plants whilst watching some baby wagtails!
I'd love to share this fantastic animation that Ella made with her brother and sister. They've worked super hard on it so please click on the link below and enjoy! Well done, Ella!
www.youtube.com/watch?v=414AYGX-UnY Marie and Mark Cassidy have created a family friendly guided meditation that you may find useful during this tricky time. Some children have been experiencing anxiety due to the virus and all its implications, so they decided to create something that may help with that a little bit. It has been designed to promote deep relaxation, relieve anxiety and improve sleep. It is a lovely family bonding activity too. It's completely free and it is accessed via the YouTube link below:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UaskQlRQLg&feature=youtu.be As part of our Under the Sea topic, Jessie has designed a poster telling us how we can help to protect our oceans. I think the slogan is particularly catchy and I love her drawings of the whale and fish. A great message for everyone, Jessie!
Mental Health Awareness week is focusing on the power and potential of kindness. If you would like to find out more and get involved with some fun activities, please head over to our school Well-Being blog on the link below:
www.southtawton.co.uk/well-being I've been amazed by some of your lovely work based on our Under the Sea theme. You've all been working hard and getting super creative at home. Serenity has been getting crafty and has made some fantastic sea creatures as well as writing about the importance of recycling to help protect our oceans. Jacob and Brianna have had a go at fossil making with excellent results! Lauren has been busy baking and decorated her cake with an under water theme. I've been told that the cake was delicious. It certainly looks it! Well done and keep up the good work.
