Eleanor B has painted and decorated a glass jar to turn it into a colourful sweet jar. It has a window so that you can see what's hidden inside.
Abi has been working really creatively to design an eye-catching poster with facts, pictures and maps of the islands which make up Japan. Well done Abi.
Hopefully, your parents will have received an email inviting you all to another Zoom meeting on Monday afternoon. For this meeting, I would like you to think of some ideas for our leaver's video. I would really like to create a video that celebrates what a fantastic group of children you are but also includes memories of your time at South Tawton. I looking forward to hearing your ideas - I'll have my note pad at the ready! Literacy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGfXRF9B2R8&t=591s Lottie has been enjoying half term, getting out and about with her family. She has been for long walks on the moor and has taken some superb photographs in the sunshine. Matylda has been having fun at the beach. It looks like you had it all to yourselves! She has also drawn a very colourful picture of a turtle, in chalk. Lovely art work. Remember, you can stay in touch with your friends and share photos on Cluster and there will be another Zoom catch up soon. Take care.
Eleanor B has been busy during half term making a cardboard castle for her guinea pigs. She says they were quite cheeky as they kept trying to escape. The white guinea pig, with a brown eye on one side and a black eye on the other, is called Hermione and the brown and white guinea pig is called Snuffles. I hope you've all had a restful half term holiday and managed to enjoy plenty of the sunshine. It's due to continue next week, so please continue to make the most of it. Below are all the activities you will need for next week. We are moving onto a new topic of Sport and Nutrition which you can access by clicking the link below. As usual, I have included the Year 5 and 6 Hamilton Trust literacy units, the Whiterose Maths units and the links for BBC Bitesize daily lessons. Remember, you can complete as much as you like and be creative if you wish. Please don't forget to email me through any examples of work or to ask any questions if you need help.
