Year Two had a great time in the Forest School area on Friday morning. We thought about our SCARF work from earlier on in the week about supporting each other and used these ideas in a blindfold game.
We also made tree faces using clay. Year Two had a great time reading with our Year Four reading buddies. We made the most of the lovely sunshine and chose some of our favourite books to share with our buddies from Year Four.
Year Two had a fantastic visit to the Northcott Theatre this afternoon. It was wonderful to see the children singing along, clapping and just thoroughly enjoying the whole theatre experience.
Even an unexpected breakdown didn’t dampen Year Two’s spirits and the fun continued outside of the Theatre in the sunshine! Year Two enjoyed an Easter hunt and making Easter cards to round off the busy term!
Have a wonderful Easter break!! Year Two have been investigating the bounciness of balls and thinking about their properties. We discussed making it a fair test and investigated different ways of carrying out the testing.
