These are strange times and someone might need one of these.

Please don't hesitate to call them. Here is a link to a YouTube video showing a range of ideas to do with Lego Duplo (although lots would work with normal lego). I am going to do some of them myself with my children! Pictures of these would be lovely too.
Lego Duplo ideas Good morning to you all on this beautiful sunny day!
We are all thinking of you today and hoping that your faces are still smiling. We have, so far, received some lovely emails from you with some examples of activities you are getting up to at home. Here are just a few of the examples: Times table flowers Kitchen roll doodling Kitchen roll doodling: Martha getting creative with a piece of kitchen roll! Martha says “I am trying different colours now." "It would make a good maze for a Minotaur!” Both of these are lovely ideas for extra activities to have a go at too...you could produce a garden of times table flowers! We would love to see those pictures. Happy Tuesday, Mrs Peters, Miss Chalcraft & Mrs Glover Good morning to you all on this sunny Monday morning,
We hope you all had a lovely weekend and are positive towards the new style of learning for your children (and lifestyle of your families!). We have devised a rough time schedule, if you wish to adhere to it, which could give you a good home learning structure if you are struggling with where to begin. Up, dressed, breakfast and ready to go by 9am! 9-9.30am Joe Wicks live on his YouTube channel for your morning PE. 9.30-10.30am Maths 10.30-11am Break (get outside if possible and have a snack – a good half an hour will entice your children back) 11-12pm Literacy 12-1pm Lunch 1-2.30pm Topic activities Following a structure like this, means school work can be all completed by 2.30pm, leaving the children plenty of free choice time. There are so many fun things to do at home, one being the Lego Challenge (attached). We shall upload more ideas for your families as the time progresses but, for now, get out into the garden, if possible, and enjoy this weather! 30 day Lego Challenge If your child(ren) complete maths quicker, then times table rockstars is a fantastic website to use. Your child (if in school on Friday) came home with their new logins. We shall send out those logins for children not in on Friday by the end of the day. Mrs Peters will be available between 9-3.30pm on a Monday and Tuesday and Miss Chalcraft 9-3.30pm Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please contact us via email, even if it’s for a natter! Together, we can beat this and get ourselves back to school. We do so miss the children! Take care and stay safe! Mrs Peters, Miss Chalcraft and Mrs Glover Here is the topic project for the week (it, of course, can extend into the Easter break if required/wanted). The idea would be to have a go at a task from each of the subject boxes, your choice which! This project will roll out over all of KS2, meaning if you have siblings accessing the same, they can work together. I have underlined in red the more accessible Year 3 tasks but you may of course choose any you like. Have fun with it and we look forward to seeing some of your learning.
Animations Topic Project A fantastic way to start your day! The year 3 children have already been introduced to Joe Wicks' style of fitness, through some very active HIIT workouts during PE sessions. A fun workout for all the family. Live Monday-Friday 9am on his YouTube channel.
